Quote from Ranking Member Nita Lowey (D-NY)

“I remain disappointed the majority refuses to fund homeland security agencies beyond February in response to the President’s actions related to immigration.   I strongly oppose several policy riders included in this final agreement, but I am pleased Democrats were able to eliminate many of the most damaging provisions. Facing insufficient spending caps and challenging policy disputes, I am pleased that good-faith negotiations resulted in a product that Members can decide whether or not to support.”
